Purchasing/Project Manager
Responsible for requesting from project teams any requirements and project information for successful Request for Proposals (RFQs.

  • Supports purchasing strategy for Purchased Material.
  • Coordinates all actions related to procurement for Bolta US for Customer Projects/pre-series/pre-trial demands.
  • Analyzes requirements of commodities/ customer projects.
  • Creates request for proposals and evaluates proposals.
  • Selects and supports selection of suppliers to be used, including auditing of suppliers by Quality.
  • Interviews/visits potential suppliers.
  • Monitors project activity at supplier.
  • Ensures that the order or contract clauses are complied with.
  • Coordinates handover to series purchasing.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures related to VDA, IATF/ISO, OSHA, and other safety and environmental laws.
  • Other duties assigned in order to ensure operations run efficient
What we are looking for: Individuals with excellent work ethic, and a desire to exceed expectations
  • University degree in Business or technical field desired.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical purchasing or an automotive purchasing role is desired.
  • Experience in negotiations, supplier development (auditing assistance)/ management (maintain supplier timelines), general understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
  • Knowledge about supplier base used in manufacturing (especially painting and molding). Knowledge in SAP MM module desired.
