Purpose of the Position: 

Under general supervision, this position supports assembly management. Assist assaembly production with reporting and dta analysis. Provide support with scheduling as well as problem solving and presentations regarding assembly information, statistics, milestones, and overall status. 

 

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Maintain key documents and databases for assembly related topics.

  • Compile data from different sources to create pareto and trend charts to track overtime, safety, and cost on a monthly basis.

  • Track and forecast the department’s key statistical data in regard to cost, manpower and travel. Investigate and analyze deviations, and research discrepancies for resolution.

  • Assist and manage independently assigned tasks that will require investigation, developing countermeasures, documenting action plans, and providing countermeasure effectiveness.

  • Assist and perform analysis as it relates to defect failures in the product quality check or building process of the vehicle independently or in conjunction with other support groups such as Quality. (Ex. problem solving, corrective action tools, etc.).

  • Utilize tracking tools to identify top concerns in relation to product quality, safety, cost, manpower or building process of the vehicle. (Ex. electronic and/or white board tracking).

  • Use problem solving systems to evaluate resolution effectiveness.

Marginal Functions:

  • May perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Education:
Associates of Arts/Science Degree or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting a supervisory function in an administrative role and experience with vehicle and/or automotive processes in a quality department setting.

Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc:

Experience in supporting managers with calendar management and travel arrangements, budget tracking and reporting.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint to format high level presentations and Word documents.

Ability to multi-task.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of management, executive/senior staff.


Preferred Skills:
German language proficiency.
