Mike Swinson is Spire’s Director of Economic Development. In his natural gas utility career over the past 30 years, he has served in a variety of capacities in large pipeline design and construction, operations management, corporate engineering/regulatory compliance, commercial/industrial business development, research and development administrator, and natural gas procurement/pipeline capacity management. He received his mechanical engineering degree from Auburn and MBA from Samford University. He defines who he is through his personal vision statement – “be the architect of a legacy community of caring and cooperative people capable of high performance in any business environment.”
