Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assessment of current operations challenges at customer locations, identification of root cause and resolution alternatives.

In alignment with customer’s requirements, this position steers and coordinates implementation of solutions, including transition and change management functionalities, ensuring successful and sustainable roll out of changes. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Current operations “deep-dive”
  • 5-Why & root cause analysis
  • Process planning including KPI’s
  • Failure analysis (PFEMA)
  • Trouble shooting methods for “quick-fix” while developing long term strategic changes
  • Sustainable improvements along the complete supply chain – physically & systematically
  • Impact Analysis: Continuous Monitoring, Adjustments and Updates of Implementation Success (PDCA)
  • Preparation and guidance through transition. 
  • Development of effective communication and training strategies for leadership and operational teams
  • Continuous support structure on-site and remotely
  • Success measurement and next steps
  • Integrated management services for any project size and scope by providing customized project teams
  • Outlining objectives, planning execution, managing operations, and reporting on status
  • Agile, Waterfall and SCORE methodologie

Perform safe work practices and participate in trainings and safety programs in a positive and proactive way by following safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards and laws. Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and injuries to supervisor or Human Resources.

Work safely 100% of the time.

Perform other duties as required.

 Qualifications

Minimum level of education

This Position requires at minimum a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent

Or related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Professional Experience

A minimum of three (2) years’ of relevant professional experience in related area(s), preferably automotive industry (OEM, supplier, 3PL)

Required skills

Advanced communication skills, across all levels (internally, customer teams & management)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

Working experience with Project Management Methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, Data Analysis and Problem Solving Skills (5-Why, 8D Problem Solving Method)

Preferred skills

(These skills are not essential but useful)

Working Knowledge of Warehouse Management, Production Planning, Inventory Management systems, such as SAP
